Hi, I'm Sumaira, mostly known as Sumi! A Toronto based professional photographer and videographer dedicated to capturing timeless moments with precision, creativity and care. 

My journey began in Sri Lanka, where I completed my photography education at the photographic society of Sri Lanka under the mentorship of Ewlyn Fernando. During this time, I gained extensive hands - on experience covering over 500 events including weddings, baby shoots, fashion photography and food photography for established brands. This foundation helped me develop both a strong technical understanding and a refined artistic eye. 

Now based in Toronto, Canada, I've continued to grow and evolve bringing my experience and creativity to a diverse and multicultural community. I specialise in capturing weddings and events with a story telling approach that reflects the uniqueness of every culture and celebration. 

I'm proud to offer a female led team creating a comfortable, respectful environment and culturally aware experience for all  clients especially for weddings and events where this is a priority.
